David studies with internationally recognised Welsh mezzo soprano Iona Jones. With his diverse repertoire which includes ballads, English songs, opera, songs from the shows and spirituals, plus his lively personality, it is easy to understand why he is in such demand to perform at numerous events.
David travels extensively performing in concerts, cabaret and corporate events throughout the British Isles. He has also sung in Australia and on his first visit down under he was invited to sing with the famous Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra & Choir as a guest soloist with the Avoca Singers from Ireland.
Master classes in which David has performed include one for the late Constance Shaplock for which he received a first class critique and more recently he took part in a master class for Sarah Walker CBE
After singing at a concert with the world famous composer and conductor Vilem Tausky in attendance, David was invited to sing for maestro Tausky 's birthday, accompanied by his regular pianist Carol Anne Wells. Sadly Vilem passed away in 2004 and David and Carol subsequently took part in a memorial concert with other performers including artists from Covent Garden Opera House.
He has recently worked with Maria Kesselman and Paul Arden Griffiths, both stars from the ever popular West End show 'Phantom of the Opera'. David can often be seen sharing the stage with international soprano Linda Watts, frequently heard on the BBC Radio 2 programme 'Friday Night is Music Night'. In other variety concerts David has performed alongside personalities including Barry Cryer, Stella Quilley, Joan Regan, Mark Walsh and Paul James (BBC Radio Kent) to name a few.
David with his charisma, talent and love of music always ends a performance with the audience wanting more.
